Stefanie Panholzer (SP) aims to be a leader in the fashion market. The
atelier of the self-employed fashion designer is based in Hamburg. At the
moment she is working on individual
exclusive projects. Furthermore, she want to start her first fashion line. She completed
her Bachelor of Arts in fashion design focused on sustainable, recyclable
fashion. Her Bachelor collection won the creative consience Award 2019 in
London. During her six-month internship at Myrka Studios in Berlin, she
immersed herself deeply in every work process of the young, sustainable,
circular, vegan fashion label. Together with circulose they published the first
fully recyclable jacket in the green showroom at the Berlin Fashion Week 2018.
SP uncompromisingly combines all aspects of sustainability. From local and
fair production to working with sustainable, innovative monomaterials and the
full transparency of their production chain. You will always know where the
clothes you wear come from and who made them.
Slow fashion is the countermovement to fast fashion. Fast fashion means
mass consumption is stimulated through rapidly changing collections. Slow fashion and so also SP is characterized by the sustainable concept of
reduced consumption and high-quality clothing. So the idea behind the design is
avant-garde touched streetwear with sportswear details, good combinability and longevity.
The collections are intended to reach as many people as possible and to
create and sharpen awareness of the importance of sustainability and
transparency in the fashion industry.
In addition, a closed cycle should be created for the label’s collections, that in the future investments will also be made in the possibility of the recycling of garments. The company’s mission accordingly includes a reduction in the consumption of resources and a high recycling rate.
